Heather Holmes, M.D.
Dr. Heather Holmes, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has worked in maternal-fetal medicine for 16 years. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo and completed a fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Holmes has published extensively and presented on a wide variety of maternal-fetal subjects, including preterm labor and central nervous system abnormalities. She was previously the Associate Professor of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Director of MFM — High-Risk Ultrasound & Genetics Unit at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has been awarded multiple times for her work, most recently receiving the ACOG Counsel on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology National Faculty Award in 2019.
Dr. Holmes will be serving the Medical City, McKinney (Baylor, Scott & White), and Methodist Golden Cross locations.
